Hello, fans of RNR. Thanks to those of you who have checked in to make sure we're still alive and kicking. As you can tell, we're taking a bit of a longer pause between episodes to get some things in order and enjoy the weather. Aye, there's plenty of news and opinion that still need covering, so we'll be back soon with another episode. In the meantime, send us your story ideas, letters, summer plans, etc...you know how to drop us a line.

Welcome to the Richmond News Review: a podcast highlighting news and opinion being published in print and online throughout the week in and around Richmond and Wayne County. I'm your host, Chris Hardie.

I'm excited about this podcast as one form of a new kind of alternative media appearing in our community. I hope that it's a contribution to a larger trend toward citizen-journalism that balances and complements our existing sources of news and opinion.

This website will be the base of operations for RNR - it will be updated at least every time there is a new episode, and I also hope to post various thoughts about the production of the show (since I believe it's the first of its kind in our area) and other tidbits of news and notes throughout the week.
